Stylish Petite | Fashion, Reviews and Petite Style: Lookbook: Theory White Skirt & Military Cropped Tweed Jacket

My first Theory item is this white skirt. My sister has been obsessed with Theory for years and I always wondered what the deal was. I have the matching blazer for an all white ensemble for it but I am still un-decided on it so I paired it with this military tweed jacket I found at Forever 21. I never got into the whole "military" look only because it's so trendy and didn't think I could pull it off but here it is......!!!

This jacket was way too cute to pass up and it fits! The 3/4 sleeves helps in not having to do alterations because if the sleeves were too long- like most F21 blazers are - I would have passed because I definitely wouldn't spend money tailoring a F21 blazer.

Here's the back of the jacket- how cute is that?? There is a dark gray ribbon bow that adds a little feminine flair to a military jacket. LOVE this detail!

Jacket: Forever 21 Tweed Cropped Blazer - size small (similar here and here )

Cami: Forever 21 cami in charcoal (comes in a variety of diff. colors and so darn affordable)

Skirt: Theory white skirt- size 0

Shoes: Aldo Hesterly Pumps -on sale was $80 now only $39.98 and they still have size 5 left!!!(or similar here and on sale)

Leather gray pumps for under $40?? And these run small so for the ladies who have trouble finding pumps that won't slip when you walk- these are great!

This Theory white skirt is a little big in the fit for my taste...the waist fits okay but the hips and the A-line style is a little to roomy for me. Now that I think about it- I should have looked at what size they had on the dummie- it's usually the smallest size! I even took the white matching blazer off the dummie since it was a petite- didn't even think to look at the skirt. I figured a 0 was the smallest size but now I'm thinking maybe there was a 00..darn it!!! I was so excited to find a 0- I grabbed it without even thinking twice!!! The best part about this skirt is that it's not see-thru! And it's not lined - which was surprising to me. Most of my white lined skirts- you have to be extra cautious because of the see-thru material. This one is a thicker cotton material.

Hopefully I will make it back to the store and see if they have a 00 instead. I just love a white skirt in the Spring and Summer....it always makes your legs look tan- which you can't go wrong!!!
