Skirt: Banana Republic Tweed Skirt- size 00P (similar here)
Shoes: Nine West Nude Peep Toe - size 5
The Banana Republic tweed skirt had a matching short sleeve tweed blazer but it didn't look right when I tried it on. So I ultimately passed which was pretty hard to do! The waist as I mentioned in my last post is a bit big for me but I think I can get away with it. Come to think of it- it's much bigger on me today- strange. This is a 00p and the fit is not like of that in a normal BR store. So be careful!!! I had to examine all my finds very carefully because if you are rushed, you will end up with defective items (snags, rips, loose threads, stains). I probably shouldn't be wearing tweed in this season but heck- why not:) This is a possible return? Good thing I didn't go crazy and buy the entire suit which would have been a disaster.
Shop this look:
Sweater:
1. Gap Navy Blue Sweater - Gap always has nice sweaters- this one is very cute and versatile
2. J.Crew Boatneck Sweater- this one is almost identical to the one I am wearing
3. Forever 21 Navy Sweater- darling and an affordable alternative
Skirt:
1. Merona Tweed Skirt- so cute and dirt cheap
2. J.Crew Tweed Skirt- gorgeous color and pretty for Spring
3. The Limited Tweed Mini- this is on MAJOR sale and so adorable
So that's all my outlet finds! Not much but you have to be selective at the outlet stores because just because it says Banana Republic or Ann Taylor does not mean that it's the same quality or the same fit! If you can keep up w/the chaos and crowds of people, you may get lucky and find some good deals. Let me know what you think about this outfit!
