As promised in my last post, here are the other items I scored on Easter at the outlet stores. Here is the Banana Republic navy blue boatneck sweater and Banana Republic tweed skirt.
I just love the fit and feel of this sweater! It's a very light material which I love because I can wear it in all seasons and wear it with jeans. The sleeves are so cute with a cuff at the end. I wish there were more in my size in different colors but a PXS was hard to find that was blemish free (common at the outlet stores). There were striped ones in different colors but I passed because I like solid colors and they are easier to match. The picture really makes it look strange- I promise it looks much cuter in person :)
The Banana Republic tweed skirt had a matching short sleeve tweed blazer but it didn't look right when I tried it on. So I ultimately passed which was pretty hard to do! The waist as I mentioned in my last post is a bit big for me but I think I can get away with it. Come to think of it- it's much bigger on me today- strange.  This is a 00p and the fit is not like of that in a normal BR store. So be careful!!! I had to examine all my finds very carefully because if you are rushed, you will end up with defective items (snags, rips, loose threads, stains). I probably shouldn't be wearing tweed in this season but heck- why not:) This is a possible return? Good thing I didn't go crazy and buy the entire suit which would have been a disaster.
