Petite Review: Forever 21 Haul

My F21 haul arrived and I ordered too much stuff which I tend to do more often that not!  Yikes! That's the problem with shopping online, you can get carried away sometimes and not even realize it! Up first is the navy blue lace dress:

Dress: Forever 21 Lace Dress- size small
Belt: Random leather skinny braided belt (similar HERE)
Handbag: LV Alma

Click below for my reviews!
I threw this on with my Banana Republic Khaki blazer for a more "work" look.
FIT: This dress fits really nicely. It's not too tight (which is what I was afraid of) and hangs on the body quite well.  This is from the F21 line so I knew the Small should fit nicely.  The length is perfect for petites- any shorter would have been too scandalous. It's loose enough to wear to work with a blazer. I can take off the blazer and dress it up for dinner if necessary.

MATERIAL: It's F21 so obviously I don't expect this to last forever. It's fully lined which is nice.

VERDICT: Hubby loved it so I think I'm keeping it...what do you think? Will I get enough wear out of it for $24?
Next up is the fuschia side swept skirt (similar HERE) from Love 21 in XS (their sizes are usually larger than F21). This line is hit or miss for me.
Fuschia Side Swept Skirt- size XS (similar HERE)
Pumps: My precious Christian Louboutin Simple 100 Pumps- size 5
Obviously the skirt is too big! Totally bummer!!
FIT: The waist was gigantic! Everything was wrong with this skirt. And the material, not so great. It's very similar to my 100% silk LOFT skirts I just brought to the tailor that I got for only $9.99 but spent a great deal on alterations (stay tuned for that).

MATERIAL:  Blend of mostly polyester and spandex- no thank you! Even at $17.80- I think I'll pass! Wrinkles very easily and I was disappointed.

VERDICT: RETURN! I love the idea and look of this skirt but poorly executed.

Next is this sheer lace top in small:

I wasn't really excited about this one until I put it on!
FIT: It fits really nicely everywhere! I thought it was going to be super loose and frumpy but it's lovely. I put a cream cami underneath and paired it with skinny jeans and taupe pumps.

VERDICT: I think I'm keeping- anyone care to share your thoughts?

Next is this pink and black lace skirt in XS (F21 line):

FIT: I was shocked that an XS skirt from the F21 was this big. In the 3rd picture, I am holding back the skirt to show what it should look like and even that doesn't look right!

MATERIAL: The black lace over the pink/peachy lining was too hard core for me.

VERDICT: Thumbs down and returning!
Lastly, simple casual black chiffon rosette dress:
You can't see but in the middle of the chest is this pretty rosette detail (click HERE to see up-close)which is what drew me to this dress. I thought it would be a nice dress to just throw on when I'm lazy and bring to Bora Bora.
FIT: Size small fits! Length and armholes all fit properly! YAY!

MATERIAL: Heavier cotton and lined which I liked, it's not the flimsy and cheap one layer dresses that I'm used to at F21.

VERDICT: Unsure- for $22.80, do I keep? Will I really wear it or will it end up in a blogsale?? :)

That's it from me! Hope everyone had a great weekend! I was disappointed on my shopping trip, only found a  few goodies.
