BCBG Clutch Giveaway Winner!

Thank to everyone who participated in my BCBG clutch giveaway! Another successful one! YAY!!!
Congratulations Angie (Pandaphilia)! Please contact me with your address. Thanks to everyone who entered! I had to make sure to validate all entries and any additional entries were given a separate number. I love doing giveaways so don't be sad if you didn't win! I'll be doing another one soon!!! :)

On another note, I want to get some advice from you ladies! Everyone knows I am a sucker for skirt suits so when I see a complete set in a 00- I tend to go crazy!!! Here is one I have my eye on:
Below is the matching skirt....
I am really curious to see if the jacket fits length wise as well as the sleeves. It looks like it runs super tiny so I think I may give it a go.  The skirt is super cute but I am afraid it may not fit. Not sure if it runs larger since I have never tried on a skirt from Ann Taylor before....any ladies have any luck?

I love the dark navy color. I have an old Victoria Secret navy that is super big on me. One of my many past tailoring mistakes:( I just realized the other day that I need more nice, fitted skirt suits so now I am on the hunt!!! I would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this Ann Taylor skirt suit!! I'm hesitant only because of the price but I know if I wait, the 00's will be sold out!!!

Petite Shopping Haul: Goodies I Got Recently

It was my last b-day celebration of the month so I decided to go shopping! Surprise surprise! :) I didn't find too much but figured I would show everyone what I did manage to buy!
H & M Divided Striped Tank Dress: Size 2 (similar sold HERE)
Sandals: Callisto Nude Wedges- size 5 (most comfortable wedges on the planet)
I have these wedges in nude and black and wear them all the time. I literally can wear them shopping for 10+  hours and my feet are still fine! Bought them last year at Nordstrom's and they still carry them! Comes in all different colors (pewter, bronze, and white)and the leather is super duper soft.

I didn't know how "practical" this dress was but hubby LOVED it on me so he made me get it :) And for $12.95- I figured I could at least get one good wear out of it on the weekends. It's definitely a fitted and sexy (borderline scandalous) dress but I think I can make it work. I think being petite, we can push the envelope on certain clothes. See this dress here on A Fashion Deliberation. I love seeing the same items on different petites- she looks great in it!

Aqua (Bloomingdale's Exclusive) Brand Jewelry: My Top Picks

I never knew that the brand Aqua made jewelry until and SA had mentioned that there was a huge jewelry sale going on so I decided to check it out!I was shocked to see that there were some super cute things that reminded me of Ann Taylor's style but for a fraction of the price. Accessories are key to a great outfit so here are my picks! And FYI- I only picked the items that were cute and on SUPER SALE!!! No full price for me! :)
Click on photo or HERE to see how DIRT cheap this necklace is!
I think it was even cheaper last week....not sure why they raise and lower the price like this but even at this price, it's a steal!

Summer Whites: Nude Panties

Well Summer is almost officially here and I love to wear white dresses and skirts in the summer! One of the biggest challenges of wearing white is finding the perfect pair of nude panties. One of my biggest pet peeves is a nice white skirt or white dress and you can see panty lines. So I wanted to do a post on this issue to ensure none of us have that problem :) Whether you are petite or not, every girl needs a perfect pair of nude panties in her wardrobe because the worst thing is when other's can see your underwear through your clothes- especially when wearing light colored clothing!
Here is my all time favorite nude panties:
Calvin Klein Lace and Sheen (comes in S, M, L)
The small surprisingly fits my petite butt! I normally wear an XS in panties but this one runs small. I was leary of the lace but you actually cannot see it underneath whites. I only have the nude's- works the best under whites. You can also get these at some CK outlets too and will save you a few bucks.

To Tailor Or Not To Tailor: 2 Theory Skirts in 00

I was shocked when I saw 2 Theory skirts online at Bloomie's that were still available in a 00. Panicked, I acted on impulse and bought these two Theory skirts HOPING and PRAYING they would fit with slight alterations or possibly none at all. Unfortunately, all Theory size 00's are NOT created equal. One skirt is HUGE and needs some major tailoring which means- more money and that equals an unhappy me:(  The other, I am on the fence about.
Here is the first one: Theory "TailorSherani" Wool Pencil Skirt- size 00
Click below to see what alterations I would need for the Theory "Tailor Sherani" pencil skirt and see how the "Ansena Classica" fits on me.

Addendum: Tiny and Narrow Button-Up Dress Shirt

I wanted to do an addendum to my previous post about the NY & Co. tiny and narrow french cuff shirt, see post HERE. I found this button-up at Banana Republic and it's as tiny and narrow as the NY & Co. one! I was pleasantly surprised at how well the fit and cut was so I wanted to share it with you ladies:)
Blouse: Banana Republic (Factory) 3/4 sleeve button-up- size PXXS (similar HERE and HERE )
Skirt: Bebe high waisted gray pinstripe pencil skirt- size 00 (similar HERE)
Shoes: Aldo patent leather pumps- size 5 (similar HERE)
Necklace: Gray multi-colored pearls (sold HERE)
Earrings: Chanel LOGO diamante earrings
Purse: Chanel Grand Shopper Tote
I just love the color of this blouse. I have nothing like it in my closet so I was really excited when I tried it on. I have never been a fan of button-up shirts until now. It just look so classy and as long as the fit is nice, it still can look feminine and professional!

Lust vs. Must Have Items

Periodically, I am going to do posts on items that is a LUST(expensive) and a MUST version (decent price point - we all can afford). Some lovely readers asked me to find cheaper versions of designer items which I thought was a great idea!
Christian Louboutins vs. Aldo's (click on link/photo)
                                          LUST                                MUST
Ahhh...*sigh*, the infamous red sole that we all are coveting. I honestly cannot wait until I get my first pair. The price tag is so steep that most of us would gasp at it compared to the Aldo's version. Yes the quality is not even close and neither is the price tag. Nude pumps is a MUST have- especially for Spring and Summer. I wear my Nine West nude pumps and just picked up another pair of Aldo nudes (similar HERE) recently. I'm excited to actually be able to switch off from my peep toes.

Casual Attire: Skinny Jeans and Floral Top

As most readers know, I rarely do a casual outfit post. And that's because I hardly have any casual clothes. I buy mainly ALL suits and work clothes. To be honest, I don't even know how to style casual clothes because I never really tried (I definitely need help in this department). I don't like spending a lot of money on casual stuff because I know I won't get much use out of them. So here is me in my skinny jeans and floral top attempting a casual look....
My first and only pair of skinny jeans...
Top: Floral Top (TJMaxx) - size XS (similar HERE and HERE)
Jeans: H & M Young girls- size 11/12 (similar HERE)
Shoes: Nine West Nude pumps- size 5 (sold HERE)

I couldn't help but get this top at TJMaxx.  I know, I need to stop buying cheap clothes.....It just caught my eye and it looked tiny on the hanger so for $12.99- how can you beat that? I love the navy blue floral with yellow lace trim. And the ruching detail in the middle accentuates your waist.
