H & M Print Shift Dress

Yet another post on H & M! I wasn't kidding when I said I went on a mini shopping spree last weekend! See this dress on Gigi and Jean. Jean will be doing a DIY slimming of the sides so stay tuned for that. I so wish I could sew but I don't even have a sewing machine!

This dress is very wide unbelted. I asked my tailor how much it would be to slim the sides but it's going to cost a hefty $30! I may just save it and have my mom do it when I go back home to visit. Throwing a blazer over it and adding a belt certainly helps hide the tent-like shape of this dress.
The length is not as short as it appears on me here because I have the belt hiding the width and in turn bringing up the hem. I think it will look great with tights for the Fall and will hide the shortness of the length.

My favorite part of the dress is the ruffle and button detail. It's so feminine and adorable! I had no idea I was going to love my mustard satchel as much as I do- it's quite versatile.
