I fell in love with this top when I first saw it. It’s got a vintage-inspired vibe with just the right amount of lace. The puffy sleeves are so adorable. It’s still really pricey but I got 25% off and just had to have it and was not willing to risk my size selling out.

I paired it with my Theory tweed skirt…I think lace and tweed are my two obsessions and probably will be for Fall/Winter. Since it’s been so deathly hot outside, I’ve been to putting my hair up to try to cool off. See here for how to style your hair up for work.

The top is see through so I had to wear a cami which I don’t mind because the top is thin enough that it doesn’t bunch up when tucked in.  I think this top would look super cute with skinny jeans and booties for a casual look. Speaking of booties, I ordered these foldover wedge booties in size 5 and hope they fit! It’s my first pair of shoes from LOFT and I am super excited!
**LOFT is having a $35 and under sale and you get $25 for every $50 that you spend!**

  1. You look gorgeous!! I love this top. I'm going shopping this weekend, and I think this might have to be a must-have for fall. I love tops that you can just grab, pair with anything and go to work. Easy, and it still looks good. Beautiful.

Oh, and I covet that Chanel bag. Someday…

  2. you look very elegant, annie! i love it when you put your hair up. i almost thought your skirt was black lace – this top would look great with that too. lovely black & white looK!

  3. Perfect pairing! You look great with your hair pulled up in a bun!!

Bummer that it is see-through! It would have made a great work top, but I cannot wear sheer clothing with camis underneath for work. 🙁

  4. Annie you look so glamorous with your hair up! I just love it! I got a big hair cut and I can now do you french twist YouTube tutorial! So excited! Heheheh! That blouse looks lovely on you! 🙂

  5. One of the loveliest petites in the blogosphere, and you show why (yet again) with another lovely blog post. Very lovely look! I actually like the entire look. The pearl necklace is a nice touch to compliment the top and the skirt. Just beautiful.
