Have you ever ordered something just to order it thinking there is no way you will like it? Well this was definitely the case with these legging jeans! Last week when GAP was having their huge 50% sale on select denim with  and an extra 30% off with your GAP card (stackable promotions), I figured what the heck and put these in my cart for about $25 with free ship.

FIT: AMAZING! The waist fits perfectly with no waist gap. The hips and legs fit comfortably. The inseam is exactly where I like my skinny jeans to hit. The material is super soft and stretchy. They fit even better than my GAP dark vintage legging jeans! They are so comfortable, I don’t even want to take them off 🙂
SIZE:
  • 00P
  • Inseam is 28″
  • Waist laying flat is 12 1/4″
IMG_5503.jpgCOLOR: The color is called light caicos. I don’t know what the heck that color means but it’s a more of a super dark teal blue. I love that these are colored denim yet understated and very unique.  I’m not a fan of bright colored denim on me and have to have something that is not only versatile but that I will actually wear. It’s a nice change of pace from regular denim.

MATERIAL/CARE:

  • 35% Polyester, 2% Spandex, 63% Cotton.
  • Machine wash.
  • Imported.

PRICE: $24.48 with free ship- I can’t complain.

VERDICT: Keep!

Has anyone else tried these jeans? And what are your thoughts on the color?

  1. I think these look great on you–I haven't seen them IRL but the color seems amazing, especially because it isn't in too much of a trendy shade. I like how you finished the outfit–very Parisian chic.

  2. Yay, I'm glad you like these too! My only minor complaint is that I noticed my pair stretched out after some wear, but not too bad. I hope GAP puts out more colors of these super lightweight jeggings in 00P. I'm definitely a fan of this material. And the 28" inseam is perfect for 5 footers.

  3. Annie, I thought of the Turks and Caicos Islands out in the Caribbean when I read "light caicos." Anyhow, these pants look very nice on you. I actually get tired of leggings and "jeggings," but these look very nice. Their color and style make them pretty good for nights out. The sweater and pumps only finish off an otherwise sweet look.

  4. nice casual outfit, annie! i like that you finally found perfectly fitting jeans! h&m slim fit is superrrr slim. size 2 or 4 should fit you great because they're way too tight on me xD

  5. YAY! I can't believe I won! Just emailed ya. : ) Thank you <3

And I bought really similar pants from H&M in size 2 that fit perfectly. same colour and fit and everything…yours are cheaper though. Darnit.

  6. Is that bunching coz you are standing like that or coz the pants are a little loose? The fit is amazing. I love GAP Jeans. Waiting for your dryer fried Gap Jeans 🙂

  7. I have been following along your jeans hunting journey and I have to say this pair looks "perfect" on you. Congrats! Besides from the fit, they compliment your body too. I really have to check these out.

  8. The length is definitely great for your height. However, I noticed the fabric bunched up a bit in the crotch area. That is a very typical problem though. If you can see pass that, the pants is a definitely a keeper.

  9. Agree w/"newpetite." The bunching in the back of the knee in the close up pic is off bc it creates this pouch. but in the other pic, it looks fine from the back, so I dont know what the deal is with the fit.

but other than that, it seems to be ok. great inseam for you.
