I was perusing online the other day for some sandals on Nordie's and found not one but 3 pairs of shoes...eeks! I almost jumped out of my seat when I saw the color and sleek design. I have loved the famous Zara cap toes because of the dark luggage color and haven't seen anything close to it. Even my Chanel cap toes (which I am afraid to wear) are very light in color and I wanted something exactly like this. See on Wendy here. I was afraid that the 5's would be too big but good news for ladies with small size 5's or 4.5's...these run small! No heel gap- YAY! I was doing a dance in my kitchen when I got home from work while trying them on. The heel is 4" which is comparable to my Louboutin simple 100's. Glad it's not any taller or I would fall over. The only negatives I could find was that the slim tapered heel is a bit too skinny for my taste. I like a classic heel - not too chunky and not too thin. The other downside is that the toe box is very narrow. Ladies with wider feet may have some discomfort. The silhouette of these remind me so much of my beloved Tory Burch Angela cap toe pumps.
Ivanka Trump Brandyn Sandal - size 4.5
I was so excited when I found these and they came in a size 4.5! Thank you Ivanka Trump for not forgetting about ladies with a size 4, 4.5 and 5 foot. I have been looking for sandals that are this color, with a lower heel and strappy but not gladiator style for years. I have found nothing. Everything is either too loose, too strappy or the heel is ridic. The color "canello" online is a bit different than in person. It's much more of a medium cognac color- very pretty. The leather is soft and very flexible- not stiff like most sandals. These run TTS (true to size) so order your normal shoe size. The 4.5's fit me nicely but I am wondering if I should have ordered a 5 to compare. The heel measures 3 1/2" but feels much lower and as far as I can tell from walking around in my house, it's very comfortable. I like the adjustable ankle straps - great for ladies with small ankles. The price tag is a bit steep but since I have been looking for years and have no sandals and these come in my size, it's worth it for me. If you prefer a wedge style sandal, these rustic tan ones are super cute and come in small sizes.
Verdict: Keeping
Me Too Patty Flat- size 4.5
Ever since I found my Tahari flats at Marshall's, I am getting to love wearing flats. They are great for shopping and running errands and my feet are super happy. I realized that I had to get the low profile sock liners to help any pinching you get from ballet flats. I haven't found ones that don't show but the nude ones work just fine for now. These are my first pair of Me Too shoes and I really like them. They are reminiscent of the popular J.Crew Viv Bow Flats but half the price. I like that these are semi-elasticized and not completely flat. That helps keep my feet in. I realized that I can't wear flats that have no ruching on the sides. These run TTS and seem to be really comfortable. I like that the toe is pointed but not too much. The modern bow is so cute! The leather is nice and soft and I am hoping they don't pinch anywhere.
Verdict: Keeping
Have a great weekend everyone! I will update once I actually wear all of these and let you know how "comfortable" they really are. I wanted to get this post up before the small sizes run out.
