I first have to tell you how incredibly hot it was outside the day I decide to wear pants! It's not often that I do but why on earth I chose such a hot day and to take blog photos? Not sure what I was thinking... This outfit was one of those instances where it looked better in my head. I was all excited to use this old Forever 21 scarf belt on some old pants (donated but kept the belt) as a neck tie on a collared shirt. It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped. I think it may look better on a true button up blouse.
This post is really to focus on my new yellow Chanel WOC (wallet on chain). It's been on my wish list but haven't been able to find the right shade of yellow. I originally wanted mustard but couldn't find one anywhere. I knew I wanted caviar over lambskin since it would be easier to maintain and wouldn't stain as easily when worn with darker clothing. When I laid my eyes on this baby, I told hubby I had to have it. He got it as an early b-day gift. There is one more item on my b-day list and fingers crossed that I get it : )
The color just makes me smile and it's a nice addition to my Chanel collection.
These pants don't fit perfectly (*sigh*) and I feel so awkward in them. The waist is tad too big and even with a belt, the butt puckers and looks very unattractive. I was in the mood to wear pants and wanted to showcase my new gift:)
