Review: Ann Taylor Modern Tweed Jacket

Top: Ann Taylor factory {old} - size XXSP
Skirt: Ann Taylor {last year} - size 00P (similar here and here)
Shoes: Classiques Entier - size 5 (buy here)
Necklace: Pearls (similar here)
Brooch: Vintage Chanel

I fell in love with this jacket when I first saw it online. As soon as I noticed the cropped cut and how reminiscent it was to the Theory Gratian blazer, I didn't even think twice about ordering it.

MATERIAL: 100% cotton - it's really stiff and almost feels like a thick linen fabric. I didn't like the material. I wish it was as softer cotton.

SIZE: 00P - this runs super small ( you may need to size up) which is great for someone smaller than me. The sleeve length fits with no alterations. I love the cropped style and  it looks great with both a pencil skirt and jeans/pants.

COLOR: The color is called coral reef. It's a stunning color and can add great color to your wardrobe.

I could have done without the zipper detail but I guess that's what makes it a "modern" style. The price is very steep so wait for a sale if you can.

VERDICT: Undecided. Trying to figure out if I will wear it often enough and if I can live with the stiff material.

What are your thoughts on this modern tweed jacket?
