Nautical Anchor Scarf & Fitting Room Finds

BRDress.jpg
It seems all small sizes are sold out online so check your local BR store. It was a total fluke I even walked into the store but hubby convinced me to just “look” and I went missing in the fitting room for quite some time:) I was pleasantly surprised that this fit so nicely and was marked down to $99 plus I had a $15 birthday coupon.  I like it so much, I’m on the hunt for the tweed version in black/white.  The square neckline is so cute and it’s fully lined. It’s similar to my striped knit sheath but way better quality.

Ann Taylor Palm Jacket – size 0P (buy HERE)

Unfortunately my Ann Taylor no longer carries 00P so this is what the 0P fits like on me. It has potential if you are in need of a light colored collarless blazer for Spring/Summer. I already have my H&M one that is similar so I passed.

The only other thing I got this weekend was this thrifted 100% silk nautical anchor scarf (made in Italy).  I scored it for $10 and it’s in perfect condition. I googled the brand and it looks like it could be circa 1974-1994.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend! 🙂

  1. Too bad the sheath dress didn't fit you, it would have looked great on you. I love the nautical themed scarf – great find!

  2. Are you going to shorten the length of the dress? I have that same one and I'm thinking it might look better shortened to an inch above the knee. What are your thoughts?

  3. Love your scarf. I like the sheath dress and wanted to try but couldn't find my size. I wish I could've tried since that might fit me!

  4. I love that scarf!!! I ordered a white one from eBay a few weeks ago and need to take a pic. And that sheath looks great on you right off the rack – don't you love when that happens? 🙂

  5. Cool scarf. It's better than nothing right? Better luck shopping next time!

  6. That is such a great find! That scarf would've gone great along with my nautical outfit I just posted today. Don't you agree? Please do tell, if you can/want, where did you thrift this cutie? Thank you.

    Happy Monday!

  7. Oh cute scarf! You have great taste 🙂 Is it for your dress or to tie on your bag? I found another petite blogger recently named Extra Petite who has a really cute scarf very similar to this one – same colors i think. You might want to check her page out to see how she wears it. Its precious. 🙂

  8. Also, BTW, you look really cute in flats. I remember reading where you said you don't wear them, but I see them in the photo. How do they feel on you?

  9. I love the way this dress looks on you. I appreciate your fitting room pics because I have a full bust and most blogger petites I have found have a small chest so it is too hard for me to tell whether the dress will work for me.
