I went shopping on Black Friday and surprisingly it wasn’t as chaotic as I had anticipated. We even left later in the day and still managed to beat the crowds. I didn’t buy a single thing that day and hubby even asked if I was feeling okay:)We went to the outlets yesterday but that was disappointing. Although I was able to complete my Christmas shopping for all my nieces and nephews which felt so good to get done. I also found this cropped cream blazer at Banana Republic factory and brought it home to think about.
I saw these cognac B.P boots hanging there on the sale rack and decided to try them on. I noticed the minimalistic lines and loved how there were no buckles or elastic. The hidden 1 1/2″ wedge heel gives you comfort yet still adds little bit of height. The color cognac was spot on (unlike the stock photo). I compared the fit to my Halogen boots side by side and the shaft is about 3/4″ taller but the circumference appeared to the be same. I won’t do a full review until I get them (ordered them so I wouldn’t have to have the floor model). I got both black and brown in size 5. These are on sale (was $129.95, now $87.06) so get them while all sizes are still in stock. I wanted to share this before I receive my actual boots because more than likely, the small sizes will sell out. Remember, you get free shipping and free returns so you have no risk (love that). These have been around since last year and I didn’t think anything of them because the stock photos are just “meh”. I will do a full review when I get both pairs.

My nude pointed-toe flats that I’ve been wearing to work forever are getting really beaten up. I don’t wear them that often in the winter, since I gravitate more towards ankle boots for work..but still I’ve been looking for something similar as a replacement…

I have the BP Runway boots in cognac from last season, and LOVE them! The only thing is that the heel tends to wear down faster than I’d like, so I have to bring mine to a shoe cobbler to get the soles fixed/replaced. I was at Nordstrom this weekend as well and saw that these were on sale, so I bought 2nd pair in cognac (I told you I really love these boots!) as well as another pair in burgundy. These boots are super comfortable and go with so many outfits!

can u do us a favor (or tweet me) the circumference of your halogen compared to these BP ones when you get them? online says BPs are 15″, but the halogen ones are 14″.

I am OBSESSING over those boots now. They are exactly what I love about a boot, minimal design elements. Love the concealed 1.5″ wedge too! And very cute Schultz shoes. Love these boots! Been looking for knee high boots that are comfortable but also gives a little height. I love this style! Do these run narrow? I have wide feet and muscular calves (15”). I wonder if these will be alright?
