Shirt: Urban Outfitters – size XS (buy HERE or similar HERE)
Blazer: J.Crew – size 00P (buy HERE)
Jeans: Old Navy – size 0P (buy HERE)
Belt: H&M – size XS (similar HERE and HERE)
Purse: YSL (similar HERE or in brown or in red)
Shoes: Christian Louboutin pigalle – size 35 (buy HERE)
I know I keep saying no more polka dots but this shirt was too cute and was recommended by my friend Tay. The sleeves are long but the width fit smaller than my J.Crew dot popover. Yes this is very similar to my J.Crew shirt but the dots are smaller and black instead of navy. The material is thicker and more of an oxford boyfriend style with a chest pocket.

If you are looking for something similar, Banana Republic has a navy and white version. I saw it last weekend in-store but it took a few days to hit online. Thanks Jess for giving me the heads up!  I don’t like the button tab sleeves but you do have the option to wear it as long sleeves.

I’ve had a lot of questions on IG about these Old Navy jeans. These are from this years version and the color is called campfire. I like them so much better than my ruby (much darker) colored ones from last year. All the rock star jeggings have different material (especially the colored ones), this one feels like a true denim legging jeans. I love the color and they are so comfortable, almost more so than my all time favorite Gap legging jeans. They don’t stretch out too bad even after a full day.  I’ve worn them non-stop lately. I almost regret not buying an extra pair in fear that they will change the material next year.

This purple schoolboy blazer isn’t the perfect fit but when layered with a long sleeve shirt underneath, it’s doable. I adore the gold buttons. I didn’t think I would love the color but it’s very pretty and I don’t have this shade in my closet. It’s also a nice change from all my cropped styles that I love.

I’ve been trying to grow my casual clothes wardrobe more. I used have all work clothes and never had anything to wear during my off days. Next on my wish list is a pair of boyfriend jeans (semi-ripped) and a cute v-neck sweater (potential here and here) that I can layer with my button-ups. When I was last home, I tried on a pair of my sisters AG boyfriend jeans and it looked really nice. I don’t want it too baggy or too ripped – just the right amount of both.

  1. oh, yes, do try ag jeans. the ag-ed washes frequently run a size small 😉 they have the best washes i’ve found, too. and the stilt is great for petites, and their bf jeans are some of the best-fitting out there!

    • Thanks Amber! I have one pair of AG jeans I bought this past Summer and love it – they are the cigarette style and score them for around $60. My sister keeps telling me to get the straight leg/bf AG’s but they are still very expensive.

  3. Sweet sunny smile and sweet style. While I am not really fond of boyfriend jeans (speaking as a male), these do look nice on you along with the pumps and the blazer. I do love the purple/violet color of this blazer. Hot pumps to go along with everything. And as usual, Annie… your hair, face, and smile are all gorgeous.

  5. One of my favorite outfits! The blazer fits you well so I don’t know what you’re talking about!

FYI. The BR polka dot shirt is cute and I purchased 00P even though the sleeves were a tad short on me. I’ll send you an email. hehe

Thanks again for recommending the campfire jeans. I bought two pairs and ended up keeping sz 2P over the reg sz 2.

    • Aw really? *blushing* Thanks so much Jess! I wore it yesterday out and about and got tons of compliments. lol

So glad you got the BR polka dot top – loved it on you! Happy you got the ON campfire jeans too – by far my fav pair and so comfy 🙂 Wash them and wear them immediately! Hehehe

      • 🙂 Will do. Need to see if they stretch a bit like you said.

I love your Pigalle’s too! Wish I could wear heels shopping but I usually stick to flats or my wedge boots.

          • icic… My simples tend to be sitting shoes for me. I carry them in my bag and only wear them in the office. The pavement would destroy the tips.

  11. Great look! I love these jeans…I’ve been “stalking” the ON site to get a pair in 0P, but no luck yet. 🙁 As for boyfriend jeans, I have a pair from Loft that I love. I would wear them everyday if I could. 🙂

  14. im on the search for the perfect bf jeans too. definitely w/ripping.

my problem is that it never looks flattering on the butt.

    • Very good point Aubs. My sister has a park from AG that she swears by but they are so expensive. I’m going to try to size up on some skinnies from ON and do some distressing/ripping myself. I also have a pair of jeans that I got from WhatJessWore that may work as BF jeans. Hopefully my project will turn out:)

  16. I needed to thank you for this excellent read!!

I absolutely enjoyed every little bit of it. I have you
bookmarked to look at new things you post…

  17. excellent submit, very informative. I’m wondering why the opposite specialists of this
sector do not understand this. You must continue your writing.
I’m confident, you have a huge readers’ base already!

  18. Aw, this was a really nice post. Taking a few minutes and
actual effort to generate a top notch article… but what can I
say… I hesitate a lot and never seem to get nearly anything done.

  19. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of
content so people could connect with it better. Youve
got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures.
Maybe you could space it out better?
