Pop of Pink

Dress: Ann Taylor - size XXSP (buy here or cheaper version)
Necklace: Ann Taylor {sold out online but still avail in stores} - (similar here)
Clutch: Vintage
Shoes: Classiques Entier - size 5 (buy here)
Hope everyone is having a great day! Just a quick outfit post testing out my new shoes and paring it with my polka dot dress (see review here). This dress is super comfortable and I have gotten tons of compliments every time I wear it. It's fitted but not inappropriate for work. I just love when a dress fits with no alterations.

I haven't seen anything that looks like this skirt- so happy I found it in my size. I can't get enough of this Zara blazer and just bought the cream version. Please note that the sleeves are extremely long and I have them cuffed up temporarily.

I forgot to mention in my last post when I wore this Ann Taylor factory ruffle shell to thank Kellie V. (reader) for picking this up for me. She emailed me when she found this back in January and knew how much I adored these shells and picked up 2 colors that I didn't have. How sweet is she? Thanks Kellie!
This is one of those skirts that I just want to keep so bad even though the fit is not perfect. It may appear like it's okay but it's about 1" too big in the waist and thru the hips. Because it's a cotton material, I am thinking maybe I can shrink it or will have to just slim the sides and taken in the waist. It's one of those items that just makes me is it worth keeping and tailoring? Here are some other pairings I posted on instagram here and here:
Dear H&M...please come out with an ivory/cream version of this swing jacket. I love it to pieces and wear it frequently.  I keep checking their website for something similar.  If anyone ever see's it come back in a light beige/cream/ivory, please let me know :)

Green, Dots and Stripes

Top: H&M divided {recent} $5.97 - size 2 (similar here and here and here)
Skirt: Ann Taylor - size 00P (buy here and here)
Purse: Vintage Coach gifted by MIL
Shoes: C/O Alonai - size 4 (similar here and here)
Sunglasses: Chanel Style# 5197H {recent }

I'm not usually a t-shirt/tee type of girl but if it's fitted and cute like this one, I can deal with it. I thought this was adorable and the price tag of $5.97 - $5.00 gift card = .97 was do-able :)  The dots are navy not black but it's hard to tell by the pictures.
Lately I have been playing with mixing patterns. It's definitely outside of my comfort zone but am having fun trying new things. I even tried this (see below)- inspired by a pic I saw in J.Crew's catalog. The natasha polka dot top I wanted to pair with the polka dot skirt was too big.  Just FYI- the polka dot pencil skirt in 00P is also too big by about 1" in the waist and hips. I love it so much that I am going to either try to shrink it or get it slimmed.  I also got this big dot circle skirt but that was also too big so it went back.
If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram - you may have heard that I found a different pair of Chanel sunglasses - #5197H {recent style}.  After much debate, I have decided to keep these. They fit much better on my nose bridge and the price tag was cheaper too (major plus). My sunglass hunt is now complete. YAY!

What are your thoughts on these sunglasses?

Review: Classiques Entier 'Riley' Cap Toe Pump, Me Too 'Patty' Flat, Ivanka Trump 'Brandyn' Sandal

I was perusing online the other day for some sandals on Nordie's and found not one but 3 pairs of shoes...eeks! I almost jumped out of my seat when I saw the color and sleek design. I have loved the famous Zara cap toes because of the dark luggage color and haven't seen anything close to it. Even my Chanel cap toes (which I am afraid to wear) are very light in color and I wanted something exactly like this. See on Wendy here. I was afraid that the 5's would be too big but good news for ladies with small size 5's or 4.5's...these run small! No heel gap- YAY! I was doing a dance in my kitchen when I got home from work while trying them on. The heel is 4" which is comparable to my Louboutin simple 100's. Glad it's not any taller or I would fall over. The only negatives I could find was that the slim tapered heel is a bit too skinny for my taste.  I like a classic heel - not too chunky and not too thin. The other downside is that the toe box is very narrow. Ladies with wider feet may have some discomfort.  The silhouette of these remind me so much of my beloved Tory Burch Angela cap toe pumps.
Verdict: Definitely keeping and can't wait to wear them
I was so excited when I found these and they came in a size 4.5! Thank you Ivanka Trump for not forgetting about ladies with a size 4, 4.5 and 5 foot. I have been looking for sandals that are this color, with a lower heel and strappy but not gladiator style for years. I have found nothing. Everything is either too loose, too strappy or the heel is ridic. The color "canello" online is a bit different than in person. It's much more of a medium cognac color- very pretty. The leather is soft and very flexible- not stiff like most sandals. These run TTS (true to size) so order your normal shoe size. The 4.5's fit me nicely but I am wondering if I should have ordered a 5 to compare. The heel measures 3 1/2" but feels much lower and as far as I can tell from walking around in my house, it's very comfortable. I like the adjustable ankle straps - great for ladies with small ankles. The price tag is a bit steep but since I have been looking for years and have no sandals and these come in my size, it's worth it for me. If you prefer a wedge style sandal, these rustic tan ones are super cute and come in small sizes.
Verdict: Keeping
Ever since I found my Tahari flats at Marshall's, I am getting to love wearing flats. They are great for shopping and running errands and my feet are super happy. I realized that I had to get the low profile sock liners to help any pinching you get from ballet flats. I haven't found ones that don't show but the nude ones work just fine for now. These are my first pair of Me Too shoes and I really like them. They are reminiscent of the popular J.Crew Viv Bow Flats but half the price. I like that these are semi-elasticized and not completely flat. That helps keep my feet in. I realized that I can't wear flats that have no ruching on the sides. These run TTS and seem to be really comfortable.  I like that the toe is pointed but not too much. The modern bow is so cute! The leather is nice and soft and I am hoping they don't pinch anywhere.
Verdict: Keeping
Have a great weekend everyone! I will update once I actually wear all of these and let you know how "comfortable" they really are. I wanted to get this post up before the small sizes run out.
Which pair are your favorites out of the three?

Fitting Room: Forever 21

Mustard stripe sweater - size small
Textured mini skirt- size small
I hardly ever try things on at Forever 21 only because the fitting rooms are always so chaotic but I was on a mission to find a few cute things to bring on vacation.  I like to dress a little less conservative while I'm on vacation just because it gives me an opportunity to wear things I wouldn't normally wear.
Couldn't find online but comes in coral polka dots too. This was adorable but way too short and sexy for me - even for vacation. I passed.
Polka dot knit dress- size small
This was really hard to pass up for $11.80 and super comfortable. Purchased.
Polka dot scoop back dress- size small
I liked this one but the straps need to come up because it's really low cut. It was fully lined and could look cute with a blazer. Passed.
I couldn't find this blouse online either but here is a simlar one and love this navy one (couldn't find my size). This is super pretty in person. The color is a blush/nude with black trim. Unfortunately ginormous and will need to be slimmed. It doesn't look so great in these pictures but I'm hoping once it's fixed up- I can get a lot of wear out of it. Purchased and will alter.
Striped knit skirt - size small
Puff sleeve 3/4" sleeve top - size small
This material of the skirt is a thicker heavier sweater material and didn't feel as cheap. It fit really nicely and perfect for vacation. Purchased. I have a thing for ruched/puffy sleeve tops so I got the yellow shirt as well. It's cotton and super soft. The entire outfit for under $20- can't beat that.

Which one is your favorite from above?

H&M Crochet White Skirt & Belted Vintage Clutch

Shirt: Gap {sides slimmed} - size Small Petite (similar here and here)
Skirt: H&M Divided Crochet skirt {style#034124 $24.95}- size 2 (similar here and here)
Shoes: Tahari - (similar here and here)
Purse: Vintage Clutch with Forever 21 belt in XS (buy here)
Bracelets: H&M girl bangles
Diamond BraceletC/O Anjolee
*check out their diamond earrings and diamond stud earrings
Renegade Cluster BraceletC/O Stella Dot
I am loving my belted vintage clutch. I can't believe the F21 belt fits perfectly around my clutch.  The best part is, I don't have to remove the belt for the purse to function- major plus.
This skirt was a recent purchase at H&M in the divided section. It fits perfectly (12" waist and 15.5" length -fully lined) and works great as a casual skirt. I went shopping for some cute and cheap clothes I can bring on my upcoming vacay and didn't find too much.  I was so thrilled to have come across this and was shocked my size was available. Usually the size 2's always go first at my local H&M stores. My closet is full of work attire so my biggest challenge is putting together vacation outfits that are comfortable and cute.  I will definitely be bringing this skirt and alternating tops to save space in my suitcase.
Since the skirt is short, I decided to pair it with a pair of flats and make it a more casual, fun outfit. I could also see me wearing this with a dressy top and pumps for date night.

Anyone tried belted a clutch or purse? Let me know if you have bought this crochet skirt and how you would style it :)
