Happy Friday everyone! The combination of navy stripes and mint is one of my favorites for Spring and Summer. This Zappos skirt (see white one on me here) is similar to my Modcoth Stripe it Lucky skirt from last year (see here) but I’ve been looking for a navy striped skirt to replace my Collective Concepts from Nordstrom that is too big for me in the waist (see here). This one fits the bill and I love it to pieces! It’s way better than the Anthropologie one (see here) that I tried last year plus it’s navy and not black.

If you are looking for a mint long sleeve tee, J.Crew has an almost identical one and it’s on sale. A chambray shirt would look great paired with this skirt too. Similar to the way I wore it HERE on Instagram:

Modcloth Stripe It Lucky Skirt and Loft Chambray
Shirt: Loft (similar HERE)
Skirt:Modcloth Stripe It Lucky Skirt (buy HERE)
Necklace: J.Crew factory (similar HERE)
Shoes: J.Crew (similar HERE)

Both skirts are favorites of mine and I would highly recommend them. A girl can never have too many stripes right? Ha.

  1. Yes, I think this navy version looks much better on than the anthropologie version too 🙂 I’m glad you went with for this one in the end ^^ It looks absolutely amazing on you, and I love how you added that cute belt 🙂 xo

  2. Lovely colour combination! If you had to choose, which stripe skirt do you prefer, the zappos one or the modcloth one? Which one is shorter, has a better fit and better material? Both sites are out of the small size, but I’ll be watching 🙂

      • Thanks! I’m leaning towards the zappos one myself, the material looks interesting and i like the extra dark stripe at the bottom hem. Plus is it me or does the zappos skirt look less poofy than the modclorh one? I never considered a horizontal stripe skirt considering my 5 foot frame but it totally works on you! Hope the zappos one comes back in stock in the small size!

  3. I have been going back and forth about the mint version of this skirt for a few weeks now since the Avery Lane size small sold out quickly. I finally pulled the trigger through your link this morning (hopefully you get a nice % back) and can’t wait to style it for summer! 🙂

I hope you are having a great weekend!
