Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Reviews Part 2

The Nordstrom anniversary sale is still going strong!  In case you haven’t heard, it’s open to everyone and you don’t need a Nordstrom credit card to shop.  There’s just too many goodies to pass up.  Sale ends on 8/2 and things are selling out fast so don’t hesitate.  You always get free shipping (no minimum) and free returns.  Make sure to read my previous reviews HERE and see my original sale picks HERE.  Here are some more reviews for you 🙂

I was really impressed by this purse!  It’s the perfect size for petites (12’W x 9″H x 5″W). The pebbled leather is so buttery soft.  I love the shape and style.  It comes with a detachable shoulder strap that is adjustable (18″-20″).  I have it on the last hole and the purse length is just right on someone my height (5′ tall). The shorter handle strap has a 4″ drop.  You can wear it on your shoulder/crossbody, in your hands or on your arm.  It’s currently 33% off which is pretty decent considering the size and quality.  The top has a zipper closure (yay!) so all your contents are safe and secure.  The front has a zippered pocket which is great for keys or your cellphone for easy access.  The purse comes in 4 colors: black, cream, navy and pink.  I love this so much that I’m getting the navy too.  The only downside is that there is no feet to protect the bottom so you’ll have to be careful where you set your purse.  I would highly recommend it!
Jeans (00, similar ones on sale HERE) // Booties (size 5, truffle taupe leather)
I’m still torn on these booties.  I like the low stacked heel and color but definitely not in love with them.  It comes in five different colors and sizes start at 4 and go up to size 12.  They seem pretty comfortable from what I could tell and runs true to size.  There’s two side zippers which I wasn’t sure that I liked.  I think it could look cute on someone else but this just didn’t do it for me.  The lower shaft height is nice for petites and could look cute with a skirt and tights for Fall.  I prefer the BP trott booties (see review HERE).

A lot of ladies have been asking for cognac boots and I was hoping these would do the trick but unfortunately the search continues.  These had a lot of potential online but I was left disappointed in person.  The leather is stiff and felt cheap.  I was underwhelmed and not impressed.  The only thing I liked about these boots was the 3 1/4″ chunky heel. The shaft height is too tall for petites (17″ in the front, 16″ in the back).  The front hits me right in the middle to upper part of my knees which makes bending your legs difficult.  The calf circumference is 15″ which is decent but slightly tight when worn over jeans. Comes in black and chestnut leather.  If you’re a taller gal, these could work but I’ll be returning.

If you like AG jeans, here’s your chance to get a pair on sale! I’m a huge fan of AG jeans and have several pairs.  They fit me very well and the quality is extremely nice. These are super long (30 1/2″ inseam) and will need to be hemmed but I love the color and cut. Would recommend.  You can buy it here.
BP striped pullover Halogen Olson Pointy Toe Studded T-Strap Flat Paige Denim Verdugo Crop white jeans Rebecca Minkoff chevron quilted love clutch Topshop molly petite nude blazerChevron quilted clutch (color: latte, similar HERE) // Striped sweater (xs) // White Jeans // Studded Shoes (review HERE) // Nude blazer (regular sizes HERE)
Love stripes? This striped v-neck pullover is under $25 and so cute.  Size XS fits me well although the sleeves are long.  No big deal because I usually roll or scrunch them up.  Lightweight and super comfortable.  Comes in 3 colors and would definitely recommend!

I’m a huge fan of purses that can double as a clutch and crossbody so when I saw this one on sale, I couldn’t really pass it up.  I adore the latte color (taupe/light beige) and it’s a great neutral purse.  The only downside is that Rebecca Minkoff purses never have an adjustable chain strap.  It drives me insane.  The straps are always too long and I have to knot the chain twice to make it the right length.  The size is great and I like the chevron quilting.  It looks like it’s currently sold out online but inventory always changes due to returns so don’t give up hope!  I would recommend it.
BP plaid shirt Cognac riding boots Naturlizer Jennings Knee high cognac boots Paige Denim Verdugo cropped white jeansPlaid shirt (xs, other colors HERE) // White Jeans // Riding boots
If you like plaid shirts, this one is super comfy and a great price!  I originally wanted the navy color but already have too many navy plaid shirts so this one was the next best option.

These boots are a great option if you need some flat cognac boots for Fall.  The shaft height is decent (approximately 15″) and the circumference is 14″ (good for small calves) and can stretch to 16 1/2″.  The boots hit me right below my knees so you can still bend your legs freely.  I’ve never ordered from this brand before but the leather seems soft.  They feel pretty comfortable after walking around my house for awhile.  Fits true to size.  I would recommend these!
BP v-neck striped pullover Franco Sarto Granite Bootie nordstrom luxe animal challis scarfStriped sweater (xs) // Jeans (size 00) // Booties // Leopard Scarf

If you need a leopard scarf, this one is a great option.  I’ve been looking for another one to replace my cheap version from several years ago.  The color is slightly different than online, not as much brown.  It’s very nice quality and I would recommend it.

These jeans aren’t on sale but they’re only $54 and the inseam is 26″ – great for petite gals.  It says boyfriend jeans online but in fact they’re more like skinny jeans.  There’s a similar pair that’s the same brand on sale HERE.
J.Crew Viv leopard Flats Louise et Cie Barry Ankle Strap FlatThese leopard flats are too cute!  So many of you ladies have wanted my J.Crew viv leopard flats (one of my favorite pairs) and these are a pretty close dupe!  Sizing runs about 1/2 size small so size up from your normal size.  Size 5 fits me perfectly which means they run small.  I like that there’s not too much toe cleavage and the strap keeps your feet from slipping out.  If you don’t like the ankle strap, these are a great option and under $100.  I would definitely recommend these.
I also got these suede booties to try but they arrived with only one shoe (#nailedit).  I’ll review them if I ever get the matching pair.
Update: (got the matching pair)
Dolce Vita Kadie BootieDolce Vita Kadie booties (size 5) // Distressed denim (petite friendly) // Rug
I’ll be reviewing these soon!
Nordstrom Soprano bow skater dress Yellow Bow DressThis bow skater dress is pretty much the cutest dress I ever did see.  And it’s only $52!  You know I can’t say no to bows right?  Comes in two colors and I took an XS.  It’s junior sizing and runs true to size.  I love it to pieces and would recommend!  You can buy it HERE.
Banana Republic gingham shirt mint nail polish Topshop scallop hem skirt Tory Burch slim diana leather clutchWhite scalloped skirt (size UK 8/US 6-8) // Banana Republic gingham shirt (similar HERE) // Mint clutch // Mint Nail Polish // Rug
Remember my grey striped scalloped skirt?  See previous post HERE.  I loved it so much that I got it in white too!  Make sure to size up a couple sizes (or more) if you don’t want it to be bodycon.  I’m typically a size 2/US 0 for Topshop clothing but I sized up to a size 8 (US 6-8) and it fits me on my lower waist loosely.  I wanted the skirt to fit comfortably and not skin tight.  The smallest size (2/US 0) was extremely fitted and short (borderline inappropriate).  Even size 6/US 0-2 was too fitted for my taste.  Topshop sizing can be extremely confusing so I refer to this sizing chart:

Perfect for Summer! Would recommend.
I’m sure your wallet hates me just as much as mine does but at least you have some great Fall items to look forward to right?  Thanks for reading and happy shopping!  XO

  2. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and
gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to
    tell someone!

  3. Way cool! Some very valid points! I appreciate you writing this article plus the rest of the website is also very good.

  4. Howdy, I believe your blog may be having web browser compatibility issues.
Whenever I look at your site in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in I.E.,
it has some overlapping issues. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Apart from that, excellent website!

  5. Really no matter if someone doesn’t be aware of then its up to other people that they will
    help, so here it happens.

  6. I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great.
I do not know who you are but definitely you’re going to a famous blogger if you aren’t already 😉 Cheers!

  7. This is a very good tip especially to those new to the blogosphere.

download it from somewhere? A design like yours with
a few simple adjustements would really make my blog shine.

  10. Howdy! Do you know if they make any plugins to assist with Search Engine Optimization? I’m trying to get my blog to rank for some targeted keywords
but I’m not seeing very good results. If you know
    of any please share. Cheers!

  11. Good day! I know this is somewhat off topic but I
was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?

I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems
with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a
    good platform.

  12. I think what you posted was actually very reasonable.
However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I ain’t suggesting your information is not good,
however what if you added something that makes people want
more? I mean Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Reviews Part 2 |
Stylish Petite is kinda plain. You should look at Yahoo’s front page and note how they write post titles
to get viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get readers excited about everything’ve written. Just my opinion,
it would make your website a little livelier.

  13. Hello There. I found your blog using msn. This is an extremely well written article.
