I’ve rounded up some of my purchase and wanted to share my thoughts on each item so you can carefully plan your shopping cart.

Likes: Love the blush color. Halogen is one of my favorite brands from Nordstrom and I was really hoping this jacket would work out. I like the length and the edgy moto design. The zip pockets are functional which is a plus. At under $70, I feel this is a decent price for the quality. The fit is great on someone my size.
Dislikes: I wasn’t too thrilled with the crepe material. It felt thin and cheap. The sleeves are slightly wide and runs long (at least on me).
Verdict: Would recommend.
Leather ankle booties (taupe) // White Jeans // Rug
Likes: If you need a pair of ankle booties for Fall, these are a great deal! I love the chunky heel and simple design. They seem pretty comfortable. The price is great for leather booties. I like the small dip in the front, looks great with skinny jeans and doesn’t cut off your legs completely. It also comes in several colors but I like taupe the best.
Dislikes: I wish they didn’t make the toes a darker color. They did this last season with their tall transit boots (see here) and I don’t understand why. It always makes me feel like the shoes are dirty. The shaft height (3.5″) could have been slightly shorter but it’s not bad. Even though it says these run small, I didn’t find this to be true. I probably could have gone to a 4.5 but took my normal size 5. I swear my feet are shrinking.
Verdict: Would recommend.
White Topper (00p) // Old Navy sweater (similar HERE) // Banana Republic gingham shirt (similar HERE) // Distressed Skinny Jeans // Grey Pumps
Measurements: shoulders 14.5″ across, armpit to armpit 16″, sleeves 21″, total length 29″
Likes: I like the clean, modern cut of this topper. There’s no closure but there are functional welt pockets (just make sure to open them). The sleeves length and width are both decent. The overall length of the jacket hits me at mid-thighs (not too long). It comes in three solid colors and two tweed patterns.
Dislikes: My first thought was that it looks like a lab coat. It has so much potential but unfortunately didn’t do it for me.
Verdict: Torn but more than likely will return.
Likes: I wasn’t sure how I was going to like these but they ended to be a great purchase. I love the blush pink color and it comes in several different colors. It’s a great affordable dupe to the very popular Valentino studded shoes. I considered the red but figured I would wear this color more. I wore them for a full day with no discomfort.
Dislikes: I found they ran a little big. I had to size down to a 4.5.
Verdict: Would recommend and one of my favorite finds.
Chloe marcie new leather tote // Forever 21 top (similar HERE) // Loft jeans (similar HERE) // Louboutin pumps (similar HERE)
Likes: I was so excited when I saw this Chloe bag as part of the sale and had to order one to compare to my current Chloe small satchel (review coming soon). The leather is so buttery soft. I adore the blush and grey color.
Dislikes: The size is gigantic. It’s way too big for petites but would be great on a taller gal. There’s no zipper on top so your contents are exposed. I do like the front pocket to shove your cell phone and other items you need to quickly access. I was disappointed there were no feet on the bottom which means it’ll probably get dirty after a lot of use. It’s not a structured tote so you have to have a lot of stuff inside to make the purse sit up straight. If you like big bags, this is definitely a good deal for the amount of leather you get. I also wish it came with a shoulder strap.
Verdict: Returned but would recommend for taller gals.
Scalloped Flats (see on me HERE)
Likes: I’m drawn to anything with scalloped edges so it was an easy choice for me to get these. The fit runs small since the size 5’s fit me perfectly. Usually if shoes fit me, that means they run 1/2 size smaller for everyone else. The gold glitter is my favorite but if it’s not your thing, it comes in several different colors. They seem pretty comfortable after several hours of wearing them.
Dislikes: I’m not sure how long the gold glitter will last after several wears but I’m hoping I’ll get my money’s worth.
Verdict: Love and would recommend.
Chunky knit jacket (2 US) // Loft jeans (similar HERE) // Lace top (similar HERE) // Leather ankle booties
Likes: Not sure what possessed me to order this but it looked so soft and cozy online. I always run cold even in the mild California winters and love a good chunky knit jacket to throw on. I love that the sleeves were narrow but that’s about it.
Dislikes: Way too expensive and didn’t like the fit or style.
Verdict: Returned.
Pink felt panama hat – Comes in three colors but love the blush the most. The circumference is a little loose on my head but doable. Would recommend.
Kate Spade sunglasses – I’m a huge fan of Kate Spade but these left me disappointed. The frames are very cheap and flimsy. Returned.
Tory Burch sunglasses – I really like these. They are over sized for my small face but the quality is very nice. Way better than the Kate Spade ones. The frames are thicker and have a better weight to them. Comes with the orange case and a pouch. Would recommend.
Red wrap dress (xxsp) // Louboutin pumps (similar HERE) // Similar pearl necklace
Likes: I don’t have too many wrap dresses or red dresses so this seemed like a good choice for me. The fit is really nice and it’s not too revealing or low-cut which is a problem I have with a lot of wrap dresses. The length is knee length and very work appropriate. Armholes are small and color is bright and cheery for Summer.
Dislikes: Not much I didn’t like except that the jersey material always shows panty lines.
Verdict: Would recommend.
Twill Cape (xxsp) // Striped Tee // White Jeans // Leather ankle booties
Likes: You know I love capes and couldn’t resist getting this one. I was so happy to see it available in regular and petite sizing. I love the heather camel color (comes in black too). The fit is great for someone my size and the length hits me where it should. The quality is very nice and has two front functional pockets. It’s not too bulky and is perfect for mild temperatures. The cut of the cape allows your arms to move freely (yay)! It looks MUCH better unzipped.
Dislikes: The only downside is that it’s dry clean only.
Verdict: Love it and would recommend. Comes in black too.
