Yes I finally got my talbot’s yellow suede slingbacks in size 5 thanks to Sunshine. Shortly after she had emailed me, another sweet reader offered her’s to me. I wanted to share the wealth and tweeted about it and another lucky petite should be getting hers soon!

I love the burnt orange color of this skirt. It’s even prettier in person. I definitely will be  wearing this in the fall w/tights! I love that’s it’s partially pleated. I have been loving pleated skirts lately. If you don’t have  H & M near you, this skirt is a very close second.

If you have a tiny waist- this will def fit you! The waist measures only 12″ across. This is from H & M’s  trend line so it was a bit on the pricey side at $39.95 but the quality is really nice and requires no alterations.

  1. You look great! I like that you kept the top neutral! This skirt would also look cute with a striped boatneck…like the ones from AT or LOFT. I am looking forward to its fall styling!

I am so glad you are wearing your cameo…I am compiling a cameo post so I added your link to my related content list! :p

  2. I just saw a blog post from Jean and Vicky with yellow shoes. They are so popular among the petite bloggers. The skirt looks youthful and darling on you!

  3. Oh my gosh. This is gorgeous. I'm going to H&M this week. Seriously! I got a coral skirt last year and it looks like the same material, except that one was tiered. I prefer this one since it looks longer! Thanks for the inspiration.

I would style this with a crisp white blouse and navy and gold accessories, only because I'm a bit obsessed with that colour combo haha.

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

  4. I LOVE..LOVE..LOVE that skirt!!!!! You look really cute in these two colors, great transition to fall. You know what, I am delighted to see you venturing out and trying on more casual wears. Gotta say I love them so far. DANG, I wish there's an H&M here. I have a similar Zara skirt but it has 3 different colors in one.

  5. This looks like the perfect outfit for Fall. I am loving the color of your skirt. For some reasons, my local H&M doesn't carry "trend" line. I am wearing the yellow shoes right now as I type =)

  6. I love this skirt – it's so feminine and fun, plus the color is so great on you! Yay for getting those yellow slingbacks – they look fab on you!! How do you like the suede in comparison to the leather version?

  7. @SewPetiteGal Thanks SPG! I love it!!! It is def fem and fun 🙂 And YAY for the suede slingbacks! Woo hoo! And I never got the leather version but I imagine the suede would be way more softer and comfortable like you said:)

  8. Beautiful Annie, I love it!! Would you happen to have the measurements from waist to hem? ….the waist measurements sound perfect but I'm afraid it might be a tad shorter on me.

  9. Thats a gorgeous skirt and I love how you've paired it with that sweater top. Wish H&M was closeby for me to get their gorgeous stuff 🙁 *Sigh*

  10. Oh, Annie! You look adorable in this orange skirt! I love everything about it. Oh, I'm totally seeing it worn with tights in the fall! Love the way you pair it with yellow shoes and tone it down with neutral top and purse. LOVE!

  11. OOo the skirt measures 17" in length…that is good news! I love it, and again I didn't see this skirt at our H&M on Michigan Avenue… Same with the orange jacket on Jean…. It must be a sign..Bessie don't.buy.anything….. LOL! Love how you styled it here, it'll look adorable in fall as well!

  12. Annie this looks great on you! Seriously I look ridiculous in that skirt LOL! I bought it in case ML wanted it, so I still have it. I'll try to take a picture and post it on FitReview. It's not flattering on me AT ALL!

  13. LOVE!!! your burnt orange skirt is such a gorgeous pop of color and looks absolutely stunning on you!!

  14. Exceptional post but I was wondering if you
could write a litte more on this subject? I’d be very
thankful if you could elaborate a little bit further.
    Thank you!

  15. My partner and I stumbled over here coming from a different page and thought I should check things out.
I like what I see so i am just following you.
Look forward to checking out your web page repeatedly.

  16. Howdy! I understand this is kind of off-topic but I had to ask.

Does managing a well-established website such as yours take a massive amount
work? I’m brand new to writing a blog however I do write in my journal on a daily basis.
I’d like to start a blog so I can share my experience and views online.

Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for
brand new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!
