Pink lace shorts – size XS
When I initially tried these on, I thought the waist fit but after putting them on again, the waist is about 1″ too big. (waist measures 12.5″ across) I like the concept of lace shorts but the zipper on the side is already giving me problems and I feel so weird in shorts. I thought I could bring them on vacation with me but they look funny with flats.
I didn’t bother taking pictures of the crochet teal dress because it was huge. The color was super pretty and I thought it had potential but it was a no go.
This top wasn’t available in petites so I was hoping it ran small. Unfortunately it’s much too wide and blouse-y for my taste. I like to tuck my tops in and it’s just too big. The arm holes are do-able but slightly too big. I love that it’s made out of 100% silk and lined but with the light color, I’d be afraid to eat with it on. I’m going to hold out for something that fits better and cheaper. This polka dot pencil skirt is on back order so I’m still waiting for that to arrive. J.Crew pencil skirts run big so I’m not too optimistic but wanted to give it a try.
Viv leather flats in spicy gold – size 5
I’ve been dying to try these and wanted to order them before they go on clearance/final sale to see if they would fit. They run small so it’s great news for ladies with size 4.5 feet like me. The leather is a bit stiff but I think once they are broken in, they could be comfortable. I’ll be returning these and waiting for a sale. I love the light spicy gold color is really pretty.
These beautiful Chanel cap toe pumps arrived last night (finally)! I couldn’t believe that the size 5’s actually fit. It’s definitely meant to be. These were a huge splurge and I was almost hoping they wouldn’t fit so then I’d be forced to return them. I’ve been on the wait list and feel lucky to have been able to get it- all thanks to my Chanel rep at Neimen’s.
Here are my new eyeglasses. I am still deciding if I can stand not having nose guards like my Calvin Klein’s. I had them adjusted but they still don’t sit right..ugh.

**Update- this ended up being a fake so buyer beware! Thanks to SewPetiteGal and several readers for notifying me. I was so bummed out. Luckily I got my full refund including my shipping charges back. Whew! I purchased this one instead and got it authenticated on TPF.com to play it safe:

And as for those soft yellow pointy shoes, I bought a pair last year (much cheaper brand though but) I get a TON of use out of them. They are really nice neutral, even though you wouldn't think that of a yellow.

I think those shorts look fantastic on you, but bagginess around the waist is annoying – I also feel really weird in shorts and rarely wear them. Love the vintage pin, new glasses, and yellow flats! I'll look forward to seeing your sunglasses, too.

I feel sad that the clothes didn't fit. It is frustrating to get so excited and then end up returning items. I have the same issue with sleeveless tops. Those Chanel shoes are AMAZING!

You almost inspired me to order that crochet dress to turn into a skirt, the color looks SO pretty, teal is my favorite! I'm not sure it's worth the hassle though, and I don't have a F21 near me to try it without dealing with shipping. If it's a back zip you could always take it in!
