I recently got this Gap girls denim jacket for only $13.99. I usually wear a size 10/12 in girls but ordered a size large and XL to compare. The XL ended up working the best. The large could work for someone with a smaller chest. I could hardly button it up and the arms were a bit tight.  I've been wanting a jean jacket but every one that I tried on was too big. I wanted something fitted and most importantly, the arms had to be slim and not too long. All the women's jean jackets I have tried, the arms were always too wide and long.

Measurements: shoulder to shoulder - 12.5", armpit to armpit is 15.5", sleeve length - 21.5", total length - 16.5"
The sleeves are nice and narrow and length fits me perfectly.  The shoulders and torso fit me well (as a reference - I'm 5' tall)  I wanted a bit of a lighter wash but the color ended up working out.

Some other good options if you are looking for a denim jacket is this one from Forever 21 or this one at American Eagle. I was tempted to order this one since it came in XXS but the price was still too much. I believe it's a junior's brand so it will definitely run smaller than a regular woman's denim jacket.

The only thing I didn't like about this girls denim jacket are the two front chest pockets. They are placed a bit higher than the women's. I'm not sure how much this will bother me but wanted to point it out.
Do you own a denim jacket and which brands do you recommend?
