Move over Banana Republic, I am loving J.Crew dresses! Just kidding, I still love you BR. Seriously, J.Crew dresses are amaze-balls! My collection is growing quite rapidly. The P00’s fit me like a glove and requires no alterations. It’s tailored to fit someone my size perfectly (5′ feet, 92 lbs). The length, hips, waist and bust are perfection. I am obsessed.
I’ve gotten quite lucky in the past several months with scoring these dresses at great prices and in my size. I think part of the reason is because the stock photos are quite horrendous. They look very drab online but in real life, it’s quite the opposite. I learned this when I first ordered this boucle dress. It ended up to be one of my favorite tweed pieces and is the best fitting dress I own.
Here is a round up of my J.Crew dresses for work – none of which required any tailoring or alterations. Yippee! I would highly recommend them. The quality and fit are great for petites.

Hi Annie, I like the pink dress. I don’t find it in the JCrew website. Their Memo dress has 2/4-sleeves and two pleats in the front. Yours is sleeveless and it does not have any pleats. Is the link you posted correct? thank you!

Yay, love it! I have been a fan of the J. Crew petites collection since I was an undergrad. My measurements are a little smaller than you but I’ve found the J. Crew petite cuts to be a much better fit than BR petites. My BF thinks its nuts to own so many of their pieces in every style and color of the rainbow, but their suiting is just so comfortable to wear and I never feel like a schlub when I’m lecturing in front of college students who would otherwise mistake me for a freshman 😛

I stopped buying from BR years back once I discovered Jcrew’s petite line fit petites like a glove! The memo dress looks great on you! I had passed on the beige and green colors bc I thought they’d wash out my skin tone but it actually looks nice! Oh well, next sale! 🙂
