H&M Trend Swiss Dot Pleated Skirt + Kate Spade Striped Bow Dress and Pumps + Banana Republic new arrivals

H&M Swiss Dot Pleated Skirt
H&M Trend – size 2 {style #438410 $49.95}
Waist 11″ flat across, 20.5″ long
This is the same fabric as my mint and tan one from 2012 (see here and here).  It’s very well constructed and is a thick material.  The best part is – it has pockets! I love the bright red orange color and think it will transition well into Fall. The waist runs extra small so you may want to size up. The length is perfect and requires no alterations.

Everyone knows how much I love and wear my H&M ivory blazer right? Well it’s available in a light gray color (similar to this one).
I saw some cute new arrivals at Banana Republic but didn’t have time to try anything on.  Here are some cute potentials in store:

Banana Republic Anchor Top1
Anchor print top (comes in navy and red too)
Banana Republic navy polka dot shirt
Navy fitted non-iron polka dot shirt (petite’s not yet avail online but in store)
If you missed out on my J.Crew factory version, this one is a great dupe!
Banana Republic Ivory Cropped Pants
Camden fit textured ivory ankle pants

These look much better in person. I really like the ivory color and textured material. I’ll have to try them on next time but wanted to share before small sizes sell out.

I finally got my Kate Spade dress and shoes that I have been anxiously waiting for.

Kate Spade Striped Dress
Kate Spade Vivien Dress – size 00

It fits me perfectly and does run small so you might want to size up. The only complaint is the zipper is exposed in the back.  It’s very well made and I adore the bow detail.  The cut out in the front is well done and plays off the cut out trend in a classier way than right in the middle of the chest.
Kate Spade Paloma Pumps
I love these shoes so much! They are different than most of my navy pumps. The calf leather with silver specchio plays off the cap toe and metallic trend well. The heel is 3.5″ and very comfortable. They are much more comfortable than my licorice patent neon pumps that I ended up returning.

  1. I saw the new arrivals in stores the other day, and thought that the anchors top was just too cute! My favorite will have to be the shoes, I debated so long before I purchased it last month on which color to get, I ended up with the white ones, but your navy ones looks promising as well! They are so comfortable and I love how the cap toe is silver and has a touch of gold, allows me to mix metals in my jewelry 🙂

  2. The anchor top looks adorable. Too bad it’s way out of my price range, would have been a cute addition to my wardrobe for the summer!

  3. loved the skirt in the irst photo! also the striped dress, so pretty! the shoes are so cute too!

  4. That skirt is definitely unique!! I’m leaning towards the knee-lengths skirts these days!
I’m definitely into that polka-dotted blouse too. 🙂
    Beautiful as alwaysssss.

  5. My favorite on you is the striped Kate Spade dress! It’s so very flattering on you and I hope you’re keeping it. 😉 I also love the light gray blazer and I’m sure you’ll get a lot of wear out of it like your cream one. For myself I am currently trying to see if the 40% code works on the anchor print top you shared so I can try it on (or maybe I should hunt it down in stores). I’m speechless that they would charge almost $80 for a polyester top. Seriously?
